Ive talked about the DevTerm the little, Linux-powered slab laptop that
shows significant design inspiration from the legendary TRS-80 Model 100 slabtop from the 1980s many , many times .
I mean, how could I not? Just look at it!
Now, some developers have done something both obvious and wonderful :
They have taken a TRS-80 Model 100 emulator and modified it to work just
right on the DevTerm .
Thus taking a modern, currently produced machine and making it capable of almost completely replicating the experience of the TRS-80 Model 100 (minus the AA batteries and external floppy drive). Check this out:
