    So I'm back, again. The short version is I started having some charging issues with my laptop,
    and took it to a local guy, who has 4.7 on Yelp. Turns out that's just for phone repairs.
    He claims to do computer repairs, but doesn't know jack about jack (that's a pun, you'll see).

    The guy held on to my laptop for 3 weeks, and didn't do anything. In fact, when I finally
    got it back, he said there was an issue with the motherboard (there wasn't).

    So I then picked it up, and did what I should have done in the first place, it's actually
    still under warranty, but, I didn't want to go through the process to send it back to MSI.
    My last MSI laptop was a headache to send it back just to replace part of a USB port.

    Well, in less than 2 weeks I got it back. Guess what? The issue was the power jack. Get the
    pun now? I knew that was the problem, but I'm not good at those sorts of repairs. Anyway, I'll
    be getting caught up, so I might reply to month old echomail.

    What a c**khole. I wonder if you can smack him round to make yourself feel better - if not, I suggest badmouthing him on Yelp & FB.

    Fix computers ourselves... saves time and money, I think...

    Also, if you can smack him round a bit... do so with a slice of cheese. Feels so good. Glad you got yer laptop back - you prolly could of had it in 2 days. What a noodle.
