I'm going to be AFK for a few days starting today, as I'm taking the family on a camping trip this weekend. Meeting up with three other families. Fourth year running we've been doing this. It's a blast every year.

I fully expect my BBS to remain up and polling, barring any power and/or internet outages or anything like that, in which case I'll return Sunday to resume my sysoply duties. The last time I went away for a week though, everything was fine when I returned.

A little RV park about an hour away called Whispering Hills.

Ah I'm sure it'll be fine, do you have a UPS battery backup for it?

It's a laptop, so sorta, in a way. :) The battery usually keeps it afloat until things come back online.

Came home to find everything A-OK.

Ha! I laughed out loud at the image of myself chasing down a bear, minding
its own business, doing bear stuff in the woods. You know, scratching its back against a tree or something. When suddenly here I come charging and screaming, and it's like, "aw man, here comes another camper."

Alas, no bears this trip.
