    I _am_ entertained by the concept of looking to 78- and 95-year-old men for fashion advice.

    (Though fashion advice from those 70 or older might lead to a bit more disapproval than I'd like, but the idea that people can go, "Eh, my fashion sense being 'bad' is your problem" does sound nice.)

    I'm too old to give a damn about fashion. COMFORT is the ONLY thing that matters!

    Srs. When I stopped wearing full on shoes (switched to sandals) it was really liberating. Most of my callusses went away, even! Then we went on avacation that required a lot of walking so I got some Asic shoes. They're ok, but I miss comfortable sandals. Need to find a nice pair again, preferrably with that "Tempurpedic" foam inside.

    I've not been down there since 2000. That year, the area I was in was infested with sharks and, by the end of the week, piles of seaweed that apparently extended from Gulf Shores to at least part-way down the Florida peninsula.

    Normally, more fecal matter is found in ice bins of your local bar
    than in Gulf waters.
