Hello world, this is the first message from SPOT BSS in over thirty years. Once run on Columbia MPC running Opus-CBDS via dialup Courier HST modem, the new version is running MysticBBS on a Raspberyy Pi 4B via internet.

Interestingly the new setup is located in the same unincorporated rural
village as the original, but in much nicer digs.

I hope you get this reply. As another node using /999 is currently hammering the 1/100 HUB and polling it every 2 mins :(

Awesome! This is one of a handful of posts that I have done for the first time in about as long! I finally got my Linux reader and SyncTerm working. SyncTerm was connecting but would fail to upload REP packets. I finally figured it out - either I can't use zmodem and/or I can't allow the auto-prompt window to ask for the file, I have to manually invoke it using CTRL-ALT-U. Crazy. But it's nice to be back without the hassle. :-)
