    I just got a dirt cheap magic jack on clearance for $5. So I added a dialup line to the BBS. I don't have another modem to test this, can someone give it a ring and see if it connects?

    cool, if I was a little closer to you I would but sorry I won't be as the toll call charges from here in New Zealand would be a killer.

    cool, if I was a little closer to you I would but sorry I won't be as
    the toll call charges from here in New Zealand would be a killer.

    This might be a good opportunity to look through some old 2600 magazines to see if old phreaking techniques still work.

    'Since 2-17-25' - as if thats a long time or something!! Kudos for still running an actual dial-up line, not like those of us that use a dial-up SERVICE where they connect over TELNET after a ma-bell connection...
