    Paulie,

    I sent you a routed netmail via TQWnet yesterday. Did you get it? I'll send another now.... Just testing my netmail routing.

    You can test your netmails are ok by sending "ping" a message on 1337:2/101 and

    you should get a "pong" back.

    deon can correct me if I get the node address wrong, but he set up an automatic

    responder for it to test.

    Yeah, but then I wouldn't get to bug Paulie. :-)
    I'll give Deon's ping a shot.

    Ah that is an unfortunate side-affect. Keep on trying that one =)

    As a last resort, it does work, but I kinda like your first idea better now :P

    I'm getting them all right now; and they seem to be coming thru normal.

    I haven't setup FIDO just yet, so I won't get that. :P

    Howdy,

    Yup, you can do it to 1337:2/100 as well...

    reading as they come in?

    Actually 2/101 - which is my BBS - Synchronet does it. Nothing I've set up.

    2/100 - the hub, is running husky hpt - and I'm using a perl filter. Its responding to:
    * test messages (echomail),
    * pings (netmail),
    * loops (me forwarding netmail to machine and that machine sending it back),
    * netmail to a non existent node (in my net)
    * netmails to anybody on the hub (since the Hub is not a BBS and nobody lots onto it to read mail).
