    Hey folks, after turning my Pi400 into a retrogaming machine with Retropie (which I can quickly switch to Pimiga or Pi OS with a simple SD switch), now I have the previous device free, which now adds up to the other one I had.

    So now I got 2 Raspberry Pi2, but I'm questioning how these can be used. Perhaps I can make an automatic vacuum cleaner with sensors, or a NAS server? I wonder if things can be still done with previous versions of the Raspberry. Any suggestions?

    I have a Talisman BBS running on one, along with a binkd server for same
    BBS. It works better if you don't use X windows.

    Well.. i`ve been reading the specs of the Rpi2 (as I'm not familiar with them) but I see that yea,h, you could use it as a NAS, buuuut as long as you don`t need super fast delivery - it seems to have 100mbps in ethernet, and max USB2 connection... so, not quick in net, not quick in data transfer. But it sure must work.Unless you do work accessing data on the server all the time, you won`t notice that... that's what I think.

    as someone mentioned, yeah, you can have a BBS on it too - it's not something too heavy on speed or even RAM usage (rememebr, also, not much ram available) - so if it`s something too heavy, better not use there. But hosting files and lighj services, it should work well....

    Oh Yeah, pihole would also be light enough for that system, I guess.
