I've got an old Dell D600 laptop that I want to use for a project. I've used lubuntu successfully with older machines in the past, but wondering if anyone has any suggestions of lightweight 32-bit distros that would work well on really old hardware. A GUI would be nice, but isn't necessary.
I have tested Antix and MX linux in an old ASUS netbook with very good results. It's 32bit, debian based, with very good support. You should
give ita try.
