Wow! Just started playing with this, learning curve is a bit steep, still trying to figure out some things, but damn using a VM from it of my main computer system in Windows to dial out.. Next is getting my BBS' on it
and shutting down hopefully 3 seperate computers..
Man I love ProxMox, I use it on 3 of my own hypervisors. If there's anything you need to know or need help on, if I am able to help, I'd be glad to offer it.

Whats the best way to USE, oh... say a Windoze 10 VM? VNC, RDP?? The Proxmox uses that VNC via WWW solution - but theres no sound... on some Linux shells I used to use... not VNC, but some X... something.

I would use VNC, you can set up this by doing; https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/VNC_Client_Access
This is what you need =)
Hope it helps.
I used RDP to get into it and it was like sitting at the real computer,
the built in VNC setup although good for quick hits, is laggy and the Bu>
Bucko, yea... I use RDP for my daughters Windows machine - but always
have her turn it off when we don't need it. I've heard other Windows
folks say how well it works, too... I think I'll give it a go for my
Win10 VM, cause I hardly ever use it - but would like to learn about
RDP.. and see how it differs from VNC.
Actually, got it completely set up now running 6 VM's at the moment,
will be adding my BBS Test Bed (A VM of all (except my Amiga) of my BBS' on one Linux machine my Image BBS, and my CNet Amiga board. These things use so little resources that I never get near the 32 gigs of Ram or the
8 cores of CPU.. The Host CPU runs around 20% except for my Image BBS Network Hub machine that thing is at 40% of the Host CPU because WinVice is very CPU intensive.. I am really loving this. I use OpenVPN to VPN
into my NAS and home network then just RDP from any computer..
AL
Yea, while I have a VPN client on my computers around the network - I
need to get that setup so that I can access systems from anywhere.
Your setup sounds like something that I'd like - I was laying with an OpenVPN VM, but think I need to understand that tech just a bit more before...
RDP rocks. A lot of times RDP clients are set stupid, so go through all the settings. I like to specify the resolution, 32bit or higher color, bring audio to the client, show desktop, etc. VNC is totally just for
One thing I forgot to mention is how great it is that you can tunnel RDP over SSH, and some clients have tunneling over SSH built in. For
example aRDP for Android or Remmina for Linux.
I also like X forwarding over SSH, I can run a desktop app natively on
my pc but running on a VM or other computer like this;
ssh -X user@someremotesystem "nautilus ~"
This would use X forwarding, to launch nautilus in the home folder of
the user "user" on the computer "someremotesystem" but display it on MY computer, not display it on "someremotesystem"
SSH and X forwarding is super nice... just if you're gonna try it over
the internet, expect latency to make it super slow, using it over the local network is fine though or some stuff that is lightweight (hence
why I chose nautilus as an example).
