My expectations weren't low, but the new Paramount+ series has hugely
exceeded them. Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip's (Cole Hauser) dogged loyalty to each other and their shared life gets more satisfying to watch by the minute, and their move to Rio Paloma feels like the clean break from Montana that
they sorely needed. The 10 Petal ranch is also growing on me, too. Clearly Rob-Will (Jai Courtney) is an absolutely psychopath, but matriarch Beulah (Annette Bening) definitely isn't the villain that she was originally made
