Amazon Australia has quietly announced that Prime Day 2026 in Australia will take place in early July, and we're expecting even better discounts than what we saw recently during its Mid-Year sale.

Amazon Australia has officially announced the dates for Prime Day, which will once again last 7 days, kicking off at 12am on Tuesday, July 7, and finishing up at 11:59pm on Monday, July 13.

This comes about a week earlier than we expected, as the sale event is
usually held in mid-July. That's alright, though, because it's still more or less on schedule and starting on a Tuesday like it usually does. The reason that we think Amazon is hosting its Prime Day sale a little early this year
is because the same event is taking place on June 23-26 in other countries (like the US, UK and Singapore), but since we just finished our very own Mid-Year Sale last week (June 1-7), it's understandable that the retail giant wouldn't want to follow it up quickly with its biggest shopping event. Speaking of the Mid-Year Sale, if you missed out on any of the deals from the event, we're still covering the best EOFY deals live this month, but we fully expect Prime Day to bring even better discounts on tech.
