As always, the best streaming services have added plenty of new movies to their library and there's some horror gems among them.

Shudder originals make up much of my recommendations this month, so if you're a horror fan who doesn't have a subscription yet, I'd highly recommend that you do. I was especially impressed by their June line-up. But worry not, there's lots to enjoy on bigger streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix and HBO Max too. Here's a fun mix of horror movies streaming throughout June 2026. Latest Videos From Watch full video here: You may like 7 new horror movies on Netflix, Shudder, HBO Max, and more in May 2026 7 new horror movies on Netflix, Shudder, HBO Max, and more in April 2026 HBO Max is now available in the UK here are 5 great horror movies I recommend Midsommar MIDSOMMAR | Official Trailer HD | A24 - YouTube Watch On When: Streaming now Where: HBO Max (US); rent or buy (UK, AU) Ari Aster's Midsommar is now on HBO Max in the US and there's a reason it leads this month's recommendations. After traumatizing us all with his first feature Hereditary , he came back a year later to do it all over again. You have to hand it to the guy, he's
    committed.

Florence Pugh leads the cast of this haunting folk horror, as Dani, a young woman who travels to a midsummer celebration in Sweden with a group of
friends and her boyfriend, the latter of who she has a strained relationship with. Whilst there, she learns the sinister truth about the commune and you can expect some seriously unsettling visuals from this horror movie. Death Becomes Her Death Becomes Her (1992) Official Trailer - Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn Movie HD - YouTube Watch On When: Streaming now Where: Paramount+ (US); rent or buy (UK); Binge (AU) Get daily insight, inspiration and deals in your inbox Sign up for breaking news, reviews, opinion, top tech deals, and more. Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn lead the cast of this comedy horror movie that's become a cult favorite over time. They play two rival women who drink a magic potion that promises eternal youth and beauty. However, they soon discover that looking young forever brings absurd, gruesome, and quite honestly, hilarious complications.

It's definitely the most lighthearted entry into this month's horror round
up, but it's no less worthy. Those wanting a brilliant blend of horror and comedy won't want to miss the classic Death Becomes Her . Escape Room ESCAPE ROOM - Official Trailer (HD) - YouTube Watch On When: Streaming now Where: Prime Video (US); rent or buy (UK, AU) What to read next 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and more this weekend (May 29) 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and more this weekend (March 27) 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and more this weekend (May 22) Escape Room gets a bad rep, in my opinion. Sure, it's a little silly, but that's all part of the
fun. If you are a fan of horror movies where people get trapped in terrifying rooms, then this should tick all the right boxes. You can safely say you have never done an escape room activity quite this dangerous before.

Lured in by the promise of a $10,000 prize, a group travel to the mysterious company Minos to take part in what they assume is a regular escape room. They end up fighting for their lives instead throughout a series of nail-biting challenges. Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) - Official Trailer (HD) - YouTube Watch On When: Streaming now Where: Prime Video (worldwide) Prime Video subscribers around the world can stream the 70s horror classic Invasion Of The Body Snatchers and there's plenty of reasons why you should. Many regard this as being better than the original, because it expands on the concept more.

With gritty camerawork and eerie sound design, this sci-fi horror should not be missed. There's also a stellar cast here including Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Leonard Nimoy, and Jeff Goldblum who star as those impacted by strange and scary aliens who are able to perfectly replicate humans. Youre Killing Me You're Killing Me | Official Trailer - YouTube Watch On When: June 6 Where: Netflix (US) Hart of Dixie 's McKaley Miller stars in Youre Killing Me , as a student hoping to get into an elite university on a scholarship. In order to secure it, she attends a coveted heaven and hell party, hoping to
get a letter of recommendation, but she finds herself in a fight for her life instead.

It's a fairly underrated movie and worth checking out on Netflix this month. I'd describe it as a teen slasher so if you enjoy movies like Scream , you'll probably get a kick out of this too. Find Your Friends FIND YOUR FRIENDS | Official Trailer | Shudder - YouTube Watch On When: June 12 Where: Shudder (worldwide) The first of Shudder's big new releases in June is Find Your Friends . The movie follows a group of women who head to Joshua Tree for a trip, where they soon find themselves unwelcome in a desert town simmering with quiet hostility. It's a far cry from the relaxing break they were expecting.

They find themselves up against aggressive locals and their own lingering resentments within the friend group, resulting in a tense and violence fight for survival. Strap in for the vacation from hell. The Voices of Our Mother The Voices of Our Mother Trailer #1 (2026) - YouTube Watch On When: June 19 Where: Shudder (worldwide) Finally, The Voices of our Mother is coming to Shudder on June 19. It follows a family matriarch who falls seriously ill,
and relatives gather to provide support in these final days.

Whilst there, they discover that their shared ancestral ties "bind them in unexpected ways", according to a cryptic synopsis. It can't mean anything
good and I'm excited to unravel the secrets when the movie arrives later this month. Follow TechRadar on Google News and add us as a preferred source to

have added plenty of new movies to their library in July and, as always,
there are some horror gems among them.

Many of these horror movies were released at the beginning of July, meaning you can stream them immediately. Others require a bit of a wait, but based on their trailers alone, I'm sure they'll be worth it. Here are the horror
movies I recommend checking out in July 2026. Latest Videos From Watch full video here: Talk to Me Talk To Me | Official Trailer HD | A24 - YouTube Watch On When: July 1 Where: Netflix (US); rent or buy (UK, AU) Talk to Me was a hugely successful debut from filmmaking brothers Danny and Michael Philippou. After starting out on YouTube , they released this feature film and scared people all over the world. You may like 7 new horror movies on Netflix, Prime Video, Shudder, and more in June 2026 7 new horror movies on Netflix,
Shudder, HBO Max, and more in May 2026 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and more this weekend (May 29)

It follows a group of teenagers as they discover they can contact spirits via a mysterious embalmed hand. They become hooked on the thrill of it until a seemingly innocent party game gets out of control and someone unleashes terrifying supernatural forces. Their second movie, Bring Her Back , is just as good, and you can find it on HBO Max . World War Z World War Z Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Brad Pitt Movie HD - YouTube Watch On When: July 1 Where: Prime Video (US); Paramount+ (UK); rent or buy (AU) Get daily insight, inspiration and deals in your inbox Sign up for breaking news, reviews, opinion, top tech deals, and more. Contact me with news and offers from other Future brands Receive email from us on behalf of our trusted partners or sponsors By submitting your information you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy and are aged 16 or over. Brad Pitt's zombie movie World
War Z is a perfect choice if you want a blend of action and horror. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Max Brooks, and follows Pitt's character Gerry a former United Nations investigator who travels the world seeking a solution for a zombie apocalypse.

It was a huge box office success at the time of its release, and now you can watch it across the best streaming services. This is one of the zombie movies I go back to, as it's a shot of pure adrenaline. The Witch The Witch | Official Trailer HD | A24 - YouTube Watch On When: July 1 Where: Netflix
(US); rent or buy (UK, AU) What to read next 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and more this weekend (May 8) 7 new movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and more this weekend (May 22) I spent a week watching and playing these 3 intriguing
horror titles here's my verdict on which ones are worth your time Robert Eggers' The Witch is streaming on Netflix, and considering the trailer for
his new movie Werewulf dropped recently, now is the perfect time to watch his first folk horror movie.

Eggers is a huge name in the horror genre now, where he has become known for his love of period settings and mythology. This brilliant horror was also the feature film debut for lead star Anya Taylor-Joy, where she plays a woman who lives in a Puritan family and is accused of being a witch. Keep an eye out
for Black Philip too, my favorite character of the bunch. The Ring The Ring - Official Trailer | 2002 - YouTube Watch On When: July 1 Where: Paramount+
(US, UK); rent or buy (AU) Gore Verbinski's The Ring is a remake of the
iconic Japanese horror, but it's no less brilliant. The English-language version has become a staple among many horror fans, and now you can relive
    the terrifying moments on Paramount+.

The well loved (and feared) movie follows a journalist who discovers a cursed VHS tape that causes its viewers to die seven days later. It's a classic for
a reason and if you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend it. Exit 8 EXIT 8 - Official Trailer - In Theaters April 10 - YouTube Watch On When: July 17 Where: Shudder (worldwide) Exit 8 is one of the great liminal-focused horrors that was released this year, and you can now relive the nightmare on Shudder. I loved this adaptation of the classic horror game, as we follow a man
trapped in a never-ending subway tunnel.

Despite taking place in one location, it will leave you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out if escape is possible for our poor protagonist, known only as The Lost Man. In my interview with director Genki Kawamura he described it as being "like purgatory", and I couldn't agree more. Saccharine Saccharine (2026) | Official Trailer - YouTube Watch On When: July 24 Where: Shudder (worldwide) Saccharine taps into the dangerous world of extreme weight-loss trends, and this one is especially disturbing. We follow Hana, a medical student who begins eating human ashes in an effort to lose weight quickly.

If that wasn't strange enough, it gets even stranger. Hana soon finds herself terrorized by the ghost of the person she's eating, making this a unique and truly frightening supernatural horror movie. Nightborn NIGHTBORN Trailer BIFFF2026 - YouTube Watch On When: July 31 Where: Shudder (worldwide)
Finally, Nightborn arrives on Shudder at the end of the month. Here, Seidi Haarla and Rupert Grint star as new parents living in the Finnish forest. We follow them over the course of one year as they discover that there's something wrong with their baby.

Nightborn explores well-known horror themes like anxieties around
motherhood. Director Hanna Bergholm has done this before with the brilliant movie Hatching , and I'm excited to see where her latest story goes.
