Poor old Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle). He can't even plan to take a short sabbatical without things devolving into chaos before his eyes. Still, that's what you get on the Fourth of July weekend, which is when The Pitt season 2 picks up.

Langdon (Patrick Ball) is busy trying to make amends for his season 1 sins, Mel (Taylor Dearden) is freaking out over an upcoming deposition, and new character Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi) is intent on changing how the E.R. department functions entirely.

The Pitt season 2 episode 2 drops on HBO Max on January 15, 2026, at 6pmPST/ 9pm EST. It's going to have the same weekly schedule, so you're tuning in for exactly the same time week on week.
