Opening arguments begin today in the case of McDonalds vs Ubuntu Linux, with the fast food giant accusing the popular Linux distribution maker of gross violations of gross color schemes.

We at McDonalds have spent years establishing ownership of our trademark garish, orange-based color palettes, stated McDonalds CEO, Ronald McDonald. When people see the blindingly orange colors of this Ooboontoo Leenoocks thing, theyre bound to get confused. It literally looks like a Happy Meal!

The plaintiff also alleges that Ubuntus usage of kitschy, animal-based code names could further confuse customers.

Warty Warthog? Yakkety Yak? Breezy Badger? These all sound suspiciously like the secret ingredients of the McRib, exclaimed an agitated Ronald, outside the courthouse.

When asked for comment, Ubuntu CEO, and part time cosmonaut, Mark
Shuttleworth stated, We will vigorously defend our usage of these visually offensive and disgusting colors, regardless of the statements of my favorite restaurant chain.
