After getting STONE and BRONZE easily from my starting spot in the top left-hand corner, I enjoyed the rare experience of knowing exactly what we were looking for confirmed by yet another short spangram.

The only really tricky words today were INDUSTRIAL and INFORMATION; the
latter being the age we are currently riding, despite information, or facts

Strands is the NYT's not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and Connections. It's now a fully fledged member of the NYT's games stable that has been running for a year and which can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
