FULL STORY ======================================================================
Amazon's October Prime Day sale has, unsurprisingly, offered a whopping
number of enticing discounts. And, whether you want live coverage of the latest deals , the best sales under AU$100 or simply the biggest discounts that are half price or better , my colleagues and I at TechRadar Australia have you covered.
As I'm spending my days this week constantly refreshing Amazon, double checking deal prices and writing up any tech I think is worth buying, it gets difficult to differentiate between what are just big discounts and genuinely great deals..
Luckily, being able to shop while working or adding them to my cart for
after work is one of the benefits of the job and I'm sharing the love. If you've been unable to explore Amazon's top deals as much as you'd like, here are my eight favourite don't-miss Prime Day discounts.
I can't grow a beard, but the facial hair I can grow does so quickly and
must be removed just as swiftly. For that reason, I purchased the regular ol' Philips OneBlade, and it's a dream for a quick, close shave without any risk of nicks. This Pro model takes things to the next step, offering the same close shave with much greater versatility that allows it to trim your head
and body. View Deal
I don't own the Ninja Slushi (yet), but this deal is hard to ignore. There
are few things better than a frozen Coke or Slurpee in the middle of a hot summer's day and this machine lets you make as much slushed deliciousness at home as you like. Plus, it can slush other drinks like milkshakes, juice and cocktails. Imagine a frozen margarita or five to cap off a hot dayjust the thought is enough to want this machine. View Deal
I own the more expensive AirPods 4 with ANC , but their noise-cancelling feature hasn't worked since I bought them. I'm yet to book an appointment to fix or replace them because the standard AirPods 4 experience is just so
good. I find them supremely comfortable, as I've never loved the in-ear tips of buds like the AirPods Pro 3 . I'm also constantly impressed by their easy connection with Apple devices. Considering I paid AU$299 for what is
basically the same product, grabbing them at just AU$178 is a fantastic buy. View Deal
They might not have 'Ultra' in their name, but make no mistake, these are
some of the best headphones that you can buy even if they no longer quite crack our guide. This SC model is the same as the Bose QuietComfort Headphones, just with a soft travel case. Offering incredible comfort, great sound and nearly top-of-the-line noise cancellation, they're a steal at just AU$237.45.
Alternatively, you could grab the Sennheiser Momentum 4 for only AU$284 .

While I'm not quite ready to upgrade from my older Kindle, this deal on the Paperwhite model is calling to me. The big upgrade over its predecessor is the E-Ink Carta 1300 display, which offers greater contrast and easier
reading in the sun. Our tester also praised its improved performance in our Amazon Kindle Paperwhite (2024) review , but note that Bluetooth connectivity has been disabled in Australia, so there's no audiobook support here. View Deal
I spent some time with this smartwatch when it launched, and my takeaway was that it's great, but I decided to stick with my Apple Watch SE at the time. This was mainly due to its price tag that I thought made it suitable for only the most serious and dedicated athletes or adventurers. At this price...
well, it's still a must-have for the fitness junkies but it makes it accessible to any Android user into their health and fitness. Tough, easy to use and filled to the brim with features, if I wasn't currently sporting a Whoop band , this would go into my cart. View Deal
I love my Ninja Creami and I snagged it for just AU$179 back in July, but I really wish I got the Deluxe model at a price like this. Whipping up 700ml batches of homemade ice cream, your efforts will last in the freezer much longer than the 470ml pints of the regular machine. Plus, it can mix two flavours separately in one pint (e.g. vanilla on top and chocolate on the bottom). It also has superior versatility, with 11 mixing functions compared to the regular Creami's five. View Deal
The air fryer that sits in prime position in my kitchen, this is a great buy for anyone who's been waiting to dive into the air fryer craze. While it is simply a small convection oven, it works much faster than my oven does providing a crisp on chips, nuggets and other foods you want crunchy. Plus, while the main basket is used most often, its dual-basket functionality comes in handy when making a main meal and side for 2-3 people at once. View Deal You might also like...
