I've looked through the early deals at Amazon ahead of next week's Prime Day and picked out the 17 best offers for under $50.

While the second Prime Day sale of the year isn't officially set to kick off until next week, I've already found some brilliant bargains at Amazon if you're ready to shop right now. There are lots of excellent little basket fillers available for under $50, so I've picked out the best ones right here, including super-cheap smart home tech, appliances, toys, and more.

One clear standout offer is this Lego Minecraft Advent Calendar for $38 (was $44.99). It may be a bit early to start thinking about Christmas, but I've
got a feeling this one will be very popular this year, given that the recent Minecraft movie was such a pop culture sensation. One to snap up for less while you can, as I bet it will sell out fast.

Elsewhere, if you want a cheap portable speaker, you can get this funky JBL
Go 4 for $39.95 (was $49.95). There's also the handy Blink Mini 2 for $19.99 (was $39.99) if you want a great starter camera. Or, for those in the mood
for a fun new kitchen gadget, this Ninja Blast Portable Blender is down to $49.99 (was $69.99).

Get ahead of the Christmas rush with this discount on a Lego Minecraft Advent Calendar that contains 24 buildable surprises and eight minifigures. This is sure to be a best-seller with the incredible popularity of this year's Minecraft movie, so I'd suggest grabbing it while it's discounted if you or a loved one would enjoy it. Looking to buy a small, basic and useful smart speaker? Amazon's early Prime Day deals include the Echo Pop for $24.99. This is the cheapest Echo device you can buy right now and one that we found was a fun, if somewhat basic, option in our Echo Pop review . For the money, however, you get a compact smart speaker with Alexa built in, so you can play music, ask questions, and check the weather completely hands-free. Amazon's popular Echo Dot is down to $35 ahead of the upcoming Prime Day
sale. That's an OK offer, but far from the previous record-low of $22.99. Nevertheless, the Echo Dot offers an improved audio experience, plus a new temperature sensor and all the handy features from Alexa, like playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather completely hands-free. recently, and it's slashed $30 off the price for Prime Day. That drops it to just $5 more than the offer I saw during Black Friday, so it's a pretty
solid deal.. As well as a time display and wake-up alerts, this compact bit

The JBL Go 4 is a budget portable speaker and is now down to a super-low
price on Amazon. It packs plenty of value into its 3.7x3-inch body and can withstand outdoor activities in rain or shine thanks to its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating. It can also last up to seven hours on a single charge. While that isn't much compared to JBL's other speakers, it's enough for a decent day trip.
