Description:
The Nvidia gaming week sale is live at Walmart, including absurdly cheap gaming laptops that are perfect for the basics.
FULL STORY ======================================================================
Walmart has launched a huge Nvidia Gaming Week sale with excellent discounts on everything from graphics cards to laptops including some fantastic
options if you're on a strict budget.
Right now, for example, you can get a gaming laptop for as little as $599
(was $1,049) at the retailer. The machine in question here is an entry-level HP Victus, which comes with an RTX 4050, 16GB of RAM, plus a 13th-gen Intel Core i5 chipset
These are great specs for the price if you're just starting out. While this particular machine won't win any awards for performance, you can still play a huge number of titles (especially older ones) smoothly at 1080p.
Another great option today is the Acer Nitro V for $699 (was $999) at Walmart . This particular machine is another budget gaming laptop, but you get a combination of an RTX 5050 graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 5 240 chipset both brand-new components.
That should give you a small but significant performance boost in-game, as
the RTX 5000 series cards have better support for new features like Multi-Frame Generation. For just under $700, this one offers great bang for the buck. Cheap gaming laptop deals at Walmart

If you're looking for a cheap (and I mean dirt cheap) gaming laptop, then
this HP Victus 15 is a solid option. The specs include an RTX 4050 graphics card and 13th-gen Intel Core i5 chipset, which are older specs now, but still superb if you're just looking for something to cover the basics. Don't expect fireworks, of course, but this machine should be able to play older and less demanding titles decently at 1080p resolution. View Deal

For $100 more, you can also consider this Acer Nitro V, which is a slightly newer (yet still cheap) gaming laptop. Under the hood, the RTX 5050 graphics card and Ryzen 5 chipset are equivalent specs to the HP above, just the
latest generation. That should afford a slightly smoother experience in-game, as well as better support for Multi Frame Generation and other software tricks. View Deal See more: check out today's Nvidia gaming week sale
You can check out our Acer Nitro V review and HP Victus 16 review pages if
you want to get a better picture of what you're getting with these machines. Bear in mind that the configurations we tested are slightly different from those featured today at Walmart, so performance figures may differ slightly.
With that said, both these laptops are excellent budget gaming machines if you're willing to tweak a few settings here and there. Even an RTX 4050 can play games relatively smoothly at 60FPS if you turn off advanced settings
like Ray Tracing. If you're a gamer who prefers older games or esports
titles, then the RTX 4050 is a fantastic place to start.
