Description:
From star-studded thrillers to bold sci-fi adaptations, Apple TV+ has an exciting slate of new shows and movies heading our way through the rest of 2025 and into 2026.
FULL STORY ======================================================================
Apple TV+ may not release as many new movies and TV shows as its biggest streaming rivals, but its built a reputation for quality over quantity. And with The Morning Show season 4 and Slow Horses season 5 on the way along with the debut of Spike Lees Highest 2 Lowest and William Bridges All Of You , the rest of 2025 is shaping up to be busy. Take a look at our new Apple TV+
movies and shows to stream in September to see whats arriving over the next month.
So, what else is coming down the pipeline in 2025 and into 2026? In this guide, weve pulled together five upcoming Apple TV+ TV shows were most
excited about. With action, comedy, science-fiction and drama on the slate, there should be something here for everyone. Apple TV+ may not be bursting at the seams with content like Netflix or Disney+, but its easy to see why its one of the best streaming services around. The Last Frontier
Director: Sam Hargrave
Run time: TBC, 10 episode season
Arriving on: October 10, 2025
Landing on Apple TV+ in early October, The Last Frontier drops viewers into the wilderness of Alaska. It follows the story of Frank Remnick (played by Jason Clarke), a lone US marshal tasked with protecting a remote town. But a prison transport plane lands nearby and dozens of violent inmates are now on the loose in the harsh terrain.
The Last Frontier is created by Jon Bokenkamp ( The Blacklist ) and Richard DOvidio ( The Call) and its a ten episode thriller that escalates from a
fight for survival to a big conspiracy. It stars Haley Bennett, Dominic Cooper, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth and Alfre Woodard. Expect a tense, action-packed story set against a very unforgiving backdrop. Pluribus
Director: Vince Gilligan
Run time: TBC, 9 episode season
Arriving on: November 7, 2025
Mark your calendars, because weve got a great feeling about this one. New TV series Pluribus arrives on Apple TV+ this November and it comes from the
brain of none other than Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. So far, we know itll be a nine episode sci-fi drama starring the fantastic Rhea Seehorn ( Better Call Saul ) and itll kick-off with two episodes debuting on November
7, followed by weekly releases throughout December.
Even though its not officially out in the wild yet, its already been renewed for a second season. Its got a strange premise: the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. All weve seen from the short Pluribus teaser trailer is someone licking doughnuts and then putting them back into a box. But the press images of a very scared looking Rhea Seehorn suggest itll become much more action-packed and foreboding. Alongside
Seehorn, the cast also includes Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte. Weve got high hopes for this one. Ted Lasso Season 4
Director: TBC, multiple
Run time: TBC, 10 episode season
Arriving on: TBC (Mid to late 2026)
Its time for The Greyhounds to lace up for another game. Ted Lasso season 4
is officially filming, proving that Apple TV+ isnt ready to let go of its biggest hit TV show just yet. Jason Sudeikis returns as the optimistic coach, alongside Hannah Waddington, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein and more of the
core cast although expect plenty of new faces too.
This next season takes things in a new direction, with Ted returning to Richmond to coach the newly formed womens team. Were expecting the same mix
of heart, humor and underdog grit that has made the show so immensely
popular. Theres speculation this fourth season is the first in a new three season arc, fingers crossed. Neuromancer
Director: J.D. Dillard
Run time: TBC, 10 episode first season
Arriving on: TBC (Late 2026)
Another one that isnt landing until 2026, but its shaping up to be well worth the wait. Apple TV+ is bringing William Gibsons very cult and very prescient cyberpunk novel Neuromancer to the small screen. Its still in development,
but were expecting a 10 episode first season thats currently being filmed across locations in Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, Istanbul and Canada.
Neuromancer is being created by Graham Roland (known for Jack Ryan ) and
J.D. Dillard ( Devotion ) and it stars Calum Turner as Case, a hacker whos pulled into a dangerous new job by Molly (Brianna Middleton), a cybernetically-enhanced assassin. Were expecting a dark and neon-soaked world of espionage, corporate conspiracies and digital heists. Theres a really
solid cast here alongside the two leads, including Mark Strong, Clmence Posy, Peter Sarsgaard, and Dane DeHaan. Neuromancer is a super popular book that really helped define the cyberpunk genre its a bold sci-fi gamble from Apple TV+, lets hope it delivers. Imperfect Women (Image credit: Apple TV+)
Director: Annie Weisman
Run time: TBC, a limited series
Arriving on: TBC
This one could be more than a whole year away, but were already excited for it. Apple TV+ is adding another heavyweight drama to its library with Imperfect Women . This will be a limited series based on Araminta Halls novel of the same name. Emmy winners Elisabeth Moss ( The Handmaids Tale, Shining Girls, Mad Men ) and Kerry Washington ( Scandal, Little Fires Everywhere ) will star in the leading roles and also serve as executive producers, too.
Adapted into a TV show by Annie Weisman ( Physical ), Imperfect Women is a psychological thriller that follows three women whose decades long friendship is shattered by a crime that exposes some old truths. Were hopeful that Imperfect Women will deliver the kind of layered, character-driven storytelling that Apple TV+ has really become known for over the past few years.
