The answers to today's Strands, game #550, are ZANY ABSURD MADCAP QUIRKY BIZARRE ECCENTRIC SPANGRAM: OFF THE WALL My rating: Easy My score: Perfect
The letter Z made ZANY easy to find today, but I got too distracted trying and failing to connect 'crazy' that I didn't come up with BIZARRE until closer to the end.
Q was another letter that made our lives easier here and QUIRKY, along with MADCAP, managed to show us where the spangram was.
Of all these descriptions for someone who is far from ordinary, ECCENTRIC is the one youd choose if the question was which attribute would you most like
in someone you are trapped in a lift with for an hour?
The rest all carry an element of risk, danger or the possibility that you might be stuck with a juggler. An eccentric person is often someone with a couple of unusual habits or views and is far less likely to be carrying a chainsaw or a clowns nose.
