With the launch of the Apple Watch 10 , Apple has announced that the speakers can finally be used to play your favorite music and podcasts giving you a back up for when your pick of the best AirPods are out of charge (or if you left them at home).

The speaker itself isn't new (older Apple Watches have been able to output some audio) but until this generation it's not been possible to use those speakers to play music directly from services like Apple Music and the other best music streaming services .
