No matter which site you subscribe on, Founding Members now get full access
on both Substack and Locals.

The Lunduke Journal has three primary websites, where people can subscribe (Substack, Locals, & Patreon). And, while all the subscriber perks and goodies are exactly the same, two of those sites have some distinct advantages:

Lunduke.Substack.com (Great article formatting, plus email and RSS feeds)

Lunduke.Locals.com (Great community interaction)

Until now, folks have had to choose one site or the other.

Today, that is changing for Founding Member level subscribers. You dont have to pick any more.

Regardless of which site you subscribe on (Substack, Locals, or Patreon), all Founding Members of The Lunduke Journal will get a complimentary full subscription account on both Substack and Locals .

If you get a Founding Member subscription on Substack, you get a
complimentary full Locals account. If you subscribe on Locals, you get a
full Substack account. And, if you get a Founding Member subscription on Patreon, you get full accounts on both Substack and Locals.

Note: Because there is some manual work involved in this process, I can only provide this benefit for Founding Members. How to Get Your Complimentary Account on Locals/Substack:

Step 1) Become a Founding Member (if you are not already)

See the bottom of this article for how to do this. Theres some fun perks. Worth checking out.

Step 2) Email bryan@lunduke.com with the email addresses you used on both Locals and Substack (they can be different)

Make sure you create a free account on Lunduke.Locals.com and Lunduke.Substack.com . Then email bryan@lunduke.com with the email addresses you used for each account.

Put the words Founding Member somewhere in the subject line to make it easier for me to find.

Step 3) There is no step 3

Ill turn your accounts into full subscriber accounts as soon as I get your email. Its a manual process Ill send you an email as soon as its set up. Then you can enjoy the full usage of both Substack and Locals! Founding

The Founding Member subscriptions are an extra fancy tier that helps to keep the cost of the regular subscriptions as low as humanly possible.

Founding Members get some fun extra benefits (in addition to all the benefits of the regular subscriptions ):

Regular video hangouts with Lunduke (at least once per month, often more frequent) exclusively for Founding Members.

Name listed in the credits of any video game released or updated during your subscription.

Complimentary full access to both Lunduke.Locals.com and Lunduke.Substack.com (if you dont already subscribe there).

Plus, at the $300 level, Founding Members get a one hour, 1-on-1 video chat with Lunduke which you own the recording of. Interview Lunduke for a podcast or YouTube channel. Ask Lunduke for help in planning a marketing campaign for an Open Source project. Have Lunduke try to fix your broken Xorg configuration. Or just tell each other dad jokes. The skys the limit. On Substack:

Go to the Lunduke.Substack.com subscription page . Select Founding Member and enter any amount in the field in the field you are comfortable with ($300 if you want the 1-on-1 video chat perk).

On Locals:

Go to the Lunduke.Locals.com subscription page . Select the Annual option. Then enter the amount you are comfortable with (again, $300 or more for the 1-on-1 chat). ($1,000,00 is just an example. A really, really amazing example.)
