From all-new movies to returning series, theres plenty to watch this weekend on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and more streamers.

    FULL STORY ======================================================================

In these bleak pandemic times, theres been a distinct lack of triple-A TV shows on hand to abate our cabin fever, with the likes of Stranger Things season 4 , Succession season 3 and Sex Education season 3 all getting pushed back due to Covid-related production delays.

Sure, Disney Plus rode in with some original Marvel adventures along the way (we ranked them , if youre interested), but they didnt quite provide that
same rush of excitement as the return of a flagship series.

Thankfully, the era of pandemic-hampered TV looks to be (finally) coming to
an end, and this weekend Money Heist season 5 hits Netflix to quench our thirst for big-budget drama.

Below, we round up seven of the biggest new arrivals coming to the likes of Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus and Hulu over the next few days, and explain where to watch them in the US and UK. Best Netflix movies Best HBO Max movies Best Netflix shows Money Heist Part 5 Volume 1 (Netflix)

Mega-popular Spanish drama series Money Heist (or La Casa De Papel, if were being particular) returns to Netflix this weekend for its fifth and final season, which is being split into two volumes (the second is arriving on December 3).

The show which quickly became the most-viewed non-English TV series on Netflix picks up directly after the events of previous episodes, with the bank-robbing gang having been shut inside the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours.

lex Pina, the shows creator, has said the decision to split the show down the middle was based on a desire to ensure season 5 lives up to fans'
expectations of a finale, so expect a bullet-ridden fiesta from the get-go.

Now available to stream on Netflix Cinderella (Amazon Prime Video)

Ah, Cinderella, the most famous fairy tale ever told and told it has been, many, many times. So how do you breathe new life into a centuries-old story which has already been turned into countless books, movies, TV shows and musicals? You cast James Corden as an anthropomorphic mouse, of course!

In this Amazon adaptation of the classic tale, pop star Camilla Cabello stars in the titular role as an ambitious young dressmaker with dreams of making it big, while the ever-charismatic Billy Porter is on hand as Cinderellas fairy godmother (or Fab G, in this case).

Pierce Brosnan and Idina Menzel also star in this part-musical movie, so
there may actually be some fun original songs, after all. Just dont expect it to reinvent the wheel.

Now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video Worth (Netflix)

Ahead of the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Worth arrives on Netflix to tell the untold true story of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, which sought to reimburse those families affected by the tragedy though not on equal terms.

Michael Keaton stars as Kenneth Feinberg, head of the operation, alongside Stanley Tucci and Amy Ryan, with the team behind Spotlight and 12 Years a Slave on hand as producers.

Early reviews have been largely positive on this timely drama, which debuted at Sundance earlier this year, so expect emotional boardroom bust-ups and vintage Keaton.

Now available to stream on Netflix Dug Days (Disney Plus)

Like Monsters at Work before it, Dug Days lands on Disney Plus as the latest spin-off show based on a classic Pixar adventure. This time, its Up that gets the episodic treatment, turning to the mishaps of talking (and squirrel-loving) golden retriever Dug.

Carl and Russell are back, too, while the original movies co-writer and co-director, Bob Peterson (who also provides the voice of Dug), writes and directs. Dont expect much opening-sequence-level emotion from this limited series which is available to stream in its four-episode entirety today but Dug Days looks to be a fun, if entirely unexpected, reintroduction to some beloved Pixar characters.

Incidentally, Ed Asner, the voice of Carl in this show and Up, passed away only last week, so this series arrival seems a fitting tribute.

Now available to stream on Disney Plus Billions season 5 part 2 (Showtime)

After Billions fifth season came to an abrupt end following a pandemic-driven halt in production, the question of when its final five episodes would air hung on fans lips for months.

This weekend, though, Damien Lewis' hedge fund magnate Bobby Axelrod and Paul Giamatti's powerful attorney Chuck Rhoades once again return to screens in this New York-based drama.

Episodes eight to 12 are streaming every Sunday until October on Showtime in the US, while UK viewers can expect the new season to appear on Sky Atlantic in the coming weeks.

Now available to stream on Showtime On Demand in the US Q-Force (Netflix)

Naturally, we had to include a new superhero adventure on this weeks list,
and Q-Force lands on Netflix to mix up the comic book formula by introducing
a rogue team of LGBTQ+ heroes known as you guessed it the Q-Force.

In development since 2019, this animated comedy series was created by Gabe Liedman a writer on Kroll Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City and PEN15
and stars the assorted voices of David Harbour, Gary Cole, Laurie Metcalf, Patti Harrison, Matt Rogers, Wanda Sykes and more.

The animation style looks pretty cool on this one, too, so Q-Force is definitely one to check out if youre into your butt-kicking secret agents.

Now available to stream on Netflix What We Do in the Shadows season 3 (Hulu)

Jemaine Clements mockumentary comedy horror series (which is based on the
2014 film of the same name) returns this weekend for its third season, continuing the misadventures of several flat-sharing vampires in Staten Island.

Series mainstays Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guilln and Mark Proksch all return for season 3s 10-episode run, while a fourth season has already been ordered.

New episodes will air on FX every Thursday, before dropping on Hulu the following day. UK viewers, fear not we expect this one to land on BBC
    iPlayer sometime soon.

Now available to stream on Hulu What's the best streaming service in 2021?

    Description:
From big-budget sci-fi adventures to returning comedy series, theres plenty
    to watch this weekend.

    FULL STORY ======================================================================

September is proving a lucrative month for streaming. Last week saw the arrival of Sex Education season 3 on Netflix, Everybody's Talking About Jamie on Prime Video and The Morning Show on Apple TV Plus , and all three
streamers each get another high-profile addition this weekend, too.

Undoubtedly the biggest is Foundation , Apples highly-anticipated series adaptation of Isaac Asimovs sci-fi novels. But joining the fantasy fun is
Star Wars: Visions on Disney Plus , as well as (at long last) The Green
Knight on Prime Video in the UK.

The point being, theres a lot of great content on offer this week. Below, we highlight seven of the biggest movies and TV shows dropping on streamers, and how to watch them in the US and the UK from blockbuster movies to returning shows. Best Netflix shows Best Netflix movies New horror movies 2021 Foundation (Apple TV Plus)

Perhaps the biggest project to hit Apple TV Plus since its launch in 2019, Foundation chronicles a band of intergalactic exiles on their journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization.

Based on a series of novels by sci-fi godfather Isaac Asimov, this
ten-episode show is already being dubbed Game of Thrones in space, and stars accomplished screen actors Jared Harris and Lee Pace alongside newcomers like Lou Llobell and Cassian Bilton.

Weve also heard that showrunner David S. Goyer has a "loose plan" to tell
this epic tale across eight seasons, so were excited to see just how much Apples staggering budget pays dividends in Foundations first crop of
    episodes.

The series' first two entries are available to stream now (you can read our episode 1 recap now ) with subsequent episodes streaming weekly every Friday. Could this be the show to make Apple TV Plus a real entertainment contender ?

Now available to stream on Apple TV Plus The Green Knight (Amazon Prime Video)

US readers, humor us. Were well aware that David Lowerys artsy medieval epic was released across the pond several months ago (and is now available on
VOD), but UK viewers can now, finally, enjoy the movie on Prime Video after a lengthy pandemic-induced delay.

The Green Knight is based on the 14th-century poem of the same name, and follows Dev Patels Gawain as he traverses a fantastical 6th-century England
in search of the eponymous green beast.

We spoke to director Lowery and the Green Knight himself, Ralph Ineson, ahead of the movies UK release, who both told of the risks and rewards involved in crafting such an unconventional picture for todays audiences.

Watch this one, even if only to have your mind blown by its visuals.

Now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video UK Star Wars: Visions (Disney Plus)

Another much-anticipated arrival this weekend is Disney Plus Star Wars: Visions, a collection of nine anime shorts set within the Star Wars universe.

Disney invited seven different Japanese animation studios to craft each episode, which have also all been dubbed into English with a voice cast featuring Lucy Liu, Neil Patrick Harris, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Harbour and more.

We chatted with the shows executive producer , James Waugh, who spoke of the studios desire to showcase the entire spectrum of tones and styles going on
in Japan. Visions is a totally different Star Wars experience to any weve encountered before, which is reason enough to give it a shot.

Now available to stream on Disney Plus Dear White People season 4 (Netflix)

Dear White People season 4 (styled as Vol. 4) arrives as the final instalment in the Justin Simien-created Netflix series, which finds itself becoming a musical this time around.

Reunited amid a pandemic, future Sam and Lionel look back on their final year together at the predominantly white Winchester University which provides
    some interesting viewing.

Season 4 has once again been praised for its writing and social commentary, though some fans have taken issue with the producers decision to switch up
the format of the show so dramatically. Still, you cant knock a good sing-a-long.

Now available to stream on Netflix The Starling (Netflix)

Melissa McCarthy and Chris O'Dowd star in The Starling, a low-budget drama acquired by Netflix that tells the tale of a woman pestered by a persistent bird while gardening.

That doesnt sound like the most engaging premise, and while McCarthy has been praised for leaning heavier on the drama and less on the comedy in this one, the movie as a whole hasnt been too well received. In fact, one review called The Starling a wildly misjudged mess. Ouch.

Its also playing in theaters, too, if you fancy risking the ticket price on a movie that you could just as easily watch and maybe stop watching from the comfort of your own home.

Now available to stream on Netflix Birds of Paradise (Amazon Prime Video)

Continuing with the bird theme, Birds of Paradise follows an aspiring
American ballerina as she heads to Paris to attend a prestigious-but-also-scary ballet school.

In fairness, the likes of Black Swan and Suspiria had us thinking all dance schools were scary, anyway, so were not surprised to learn that Birds of Paradise tells a darkly intriguing and seductively entertaining story.

This one is based on A.K. Small's novel Burning Bright Stars, and features Diana Silvers, Jacqueline Bisset and Kristine Froseth.

Now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video Midnight Mass (Netflix)

In this new Netflix series from The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan, the arrival of a mysterious young priest (Hamish Linklater) on an isolated island seems to trigger a string of supernatural and typically unwelcome happenings.

The trailer makes this one look like it bears shades of Midsommar and Stephen Kings Needful Things, so expect a spiritual but undoubtedly unsettling trip into the life of a religion-obsessed community hypnotized by the supposed presence of miracles.

All seven episodes are available to stream today.

Now available to stream on Netflix New horror movies 2021 : every scary film coming soon
