This is absolutely wild. Remember Dragons Lair? The LaserDisc arcade game from Don Bluth in the 1980s? The one with the wildly amazing animation for the time?

Well, an enterprising crew of developers (known as Brutal Deluxe) has re-created both Dragons Lair 1 and Dragons Lair 2 for drumroll please the Apple IIgs.

Seriously. And the animation looks absolutely spectacular. Like nothing youll likely ever see for the Apple II line. Check this out:

Even crazier? They released the full source code .

The whole game fits on 8 floppies. No LaserDisc involved.
