A Pokmon game like no other

Pokmon Legends: Arceus takes place many years before the existing Pokmon series in a vast, untamed wilderness known as Hisui a world that in years to come will become the Sinnoh region you may have already experienced in Pokmon Brilliant Diamond and Pokmon Shining Pearl.

But Hisui is very different, and so is the game: it's an action RPG that blends its familiar role-playing elements with fast-paced action including
two unique styles of Pokmon attacks: Agile Style and Strong Style.

Pokmon Legends: Arceus is all about discovery. Youre a young researcher whose job is to create the very first Pokdex by discovering and cataloguing all the Pokmon in Hisui. That means travelling far and wide, interacting with a diverse cast of characters in a world yet to invent Pokmon Trainers and
Pokmon Leagues.

Theres a fascinating focus on collecting materials and crafting new objects, and the revamped battles are more challenging and more rewarding than ever before.

Finding and catching the new Pokmon wont be easy. Some of them live in lush forests or in snow-capped mountains; some hide in the long grass of deep swamps or up in the treetops.

Theyre very different but they all have one thing in common: theyre going to notice any researchers wandering around their habitats, and theyre not all going to be happy about it.

While some Pokmon will greet you warmly, others will attack you on sight.
This is a game where blundering into new places is likely to end badly.

Some Pokmon have Hisuian forms that youll only find in the Hisui region, and new creatures include the Hisuian Growlithand the Hisuian Voltorb.

Some Pokmon have received a mysterious blessing that makes them incredibly powerful, while others are said to willingly assist the people of Hisui and some fly into terrifying frenzies that make them exceptionally difficult to rein in.

Although we know lots about the game already, one thing we dont know yet is where the titular Arceus comes in: in the world of Pokmon, Arceus is a mythical, alpha Pokmon who created everything in the world including all Pokmon and who has the power to change the entire Pokmon universe.
