    FULL STORY ======================================================================

    This is just truly entertaining and awesome.

    Alan Pope, who was previously the Developer Advocate working at Canonical (specifically on advocating for people to use Snap packaging ), has developed a new project called Unsnap to help people Quickly migrate from using snap packages to flatpaks .

    Oh. Snap .

    I repeat:

    The guy whos job it was to convince people to use Snap packaging on Ubuntu (and Linux in general)

    Has now built a tool to help people stop using Snap .

    My thoughts:

    Amazing work, Alan Pope! This looks incredibly handy.

    Also thanks for giving me a solid chuckle. This is one of the greatest
    trolls on a former employer that Ive seen in a long, long time. I owe you a high five.

    You can check out Unsnap from the projects GitHub page .

    Have you picked up your subscription to The Lunduke Journal yet? The standard subscription which comes with a whole bunch of books (including two books of nerdy satire) is available at a crazy cheap price right now. Get 70% off for 1 year

    Theres also the premium Founding Member subscriptions . Which come with some super fun perks (like 1-on-1 video chats with Lunduke, group hangouts, and other fancy goodies). Check out the details . Its pretty rad.

    Just look at this book. You want this book.
