FULL STORY ======================================================================
This is just truly entertaining and awesome.
Alan Pope, who was previously the Developer Advocate working at Canonical (specifically on advocating for people to use Snap packaging ), has developed a new project called Unsnap to help people Quickly migrate from using snap packages to flatpaks .
Oh. Snap .
I repeat:
The guy whos job it was to convince people to use Snap packaging on Ubuntu (and Linux in general)
Has now built a tool to help people stop using Snap .
My thoughts:
Amazing work, Alan Pope! This looks incredibly handy.
Also thanks for giving me a solid chuckle. This is one of the greatest
trolls on a former employer that Ive seen in a long, long time. I owe you a high five.
You can check out Unsnap from the projects GitHub page .
