If youre looking for a new smart display device, Amazon has price cuts of $30-$35 on three Echo Show devices right now. The Echo Show 5 (1st Gen), Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen), and the Echo Show 8 are all at record low prices at Amazon.

The Amazon Echo Show 5 (1st Gen) has had a fair few discounts since its release in 2019 but the current $35 price cut is the best deal we have seen ( now $44.99, was $79.99 ).

However, Amazon released a newer version of their smallest smart display, the Amazon Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) , earlier this year. We havent seen the cost
fall from the release price of $84.99 until now. The $30 price cut leaves the Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) at a record low price of $54.99 .

If youre looking for a slightly bigger smart display, Amazons Echo Show 8
(2nd Gen) is also at a record low price of $99.99 . This is the first price cut we have seen since the release of the Echo Show 8 earlier this year and it's a good one. $30 has been slashed from the original $129.99 price, saving you an impressive 23% on the latest device in the Echo Show 8 range.

So which of these great deals should you go for? The first generation Amazon Echo Show 5 is a super affordable entry option into the smart display market and has the same 5.5-inch display as the newer second gen version. But if you can afford the extra $10, the second generation has a better camera (2MP vs 1MP ) and comes in more colors.

For a bigger smart display, you can opt for the Echo Show 8, which has an 8-inch screen. The 13MP camera and the larger screen make the Amazon Echo
Show 8 even better for video calls and you can join Zoom calls - a feature
not available with the Echo Show5.
