• Nodelist question

From Gamgee@1337:3/191 to All on Fri Mar 1 11:00:00 2024
    Hi all,

Got today's new Nodelist and Infopack delivered today with accompanying
.TIC files, which is great. I do have a question:

In the nodelist archive (.Z61) there is the nodelist file and one other
file named 'tqwnet.d86'. This looks to be some kind of "difference"
file or something for the nodelist, and is dated back in October 2023. Wondering why it's included with the updated nodelist. The reason I ask
is that it makes my TIC processor unhappy (as I have a script which
copies the nodelist somewhere, and doesn't expect to see another file
in the archive), and wondering if it can go away...

Thanks for any info and happy BBS'ing!

Well the tqwnet.d?? files _are_ part files, but interestingly the should only be included if they belong to the same date as the main file, I have removed that from the hatching until I fix the script correctly, thanks for spotting the error.

I have rehatched the nodelist without the .d86 file, hopefully that'll make your system (and others') happier.
Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I received that and it processed perfectly, thank you for fixing!

    Hello again,

I got a new Nodelist (.z82) today, thank you for that, but.... there is once again a "diff" file in the archive with a .d68 file extension. Not sure why that would be in there, but it's the same issue as described above. Can you check the script/hatching process again?

    Thank you!
