Just letting you know I just upgraded both the UK and the CA hubs to the latest



































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































pre-alpha A47 dated 2021-08-10 (today).

After speaking with g00r00 about the "blank lines" scenario, maybe it's not on send as I see it in his messages but on his end he does not (verified screenshots).

So I have upgraded the hubs which seems to have gone fine, I will endeavor to upgrade tHE qUAntUm wOrmhOlE sometime soon, this may be more challenging, but ... gotta be done at some point.

If you get this, and you're on either the UK or CA hub (1337:1/* or 1337:3/*) then all is ok and good in the world (of tqwNet BBS hubbage).

I got you @ 2o, so msgs are moving...

After speaking with g00r00 about the "blank lines" scenario, maybe it's not on send as I see it in his messages but on his end he does not (verified screenshots).

Hmmmm; where the heck is it happening, then. I now understand its... on OUR systems, and doesn't display on the end where the message came from; but... is it when the msgs are imported/tossed?

LOL; I dunno... this time round I was [am] learning MPL and really wanted the newest features; but the more and more I run this BBS, I'm learning that a46 still had 90% of the things - I may just keep 2o on the stable forever and test/code new stuff on an instance of the alphas.

Can you verify something for me? Does your /scroll still work in MRC? The Godfather said it WASN'T working so we thought for a split second that it might

OK I just looked at the code real quick, and can see straight away why it's doing it, the MRC scroll back feature uses the Mystic built in function (GV) - View a display file in ANSI viewer.

Looks like somewhere along the line perhaps the syntax has changed for that GV command, here's what the code of MRC says;

MenuCmd('GV','mrcscrl;x;y;'+ChatLog+';END')

... and here's the syntax for the GV command as per wiki

Data: <template>;<helpfile>;<speed>;<filename>[;END]


So I'm gonna go hunting for the fix, and let y'all know when I find it.
