I am having a problem logging into some BBSs from Linux, although I can login using Windows 10. I have tried using Telnet from my terminal and
NetRunner. I am not having the same issue with all the BBSs I have tried,
only a couple, so I am a bit puzzled. Any ideas?

What "issues" exactly? Can you explain what the issues are so we can try and help?

The specific problem is that I get disconnected immediatly after logging in.
It does not happen on all of the BBSs I try, only a couple. The Quantum Wormhole is one that I am unable to connect to from my Linux machine, which
is a bummer. I have tried using Telnet from terminal and NetRunner both
without success.

I have no trouble logging into The Quantum Wormhole and stating connected from my Win10 machine.

Are you trying to connect to Quantum Wormhole with both at the same time? I have set that, using telnet, only one connection per IP address. If you wish to






















































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































use SSH (port 45022) you can do that with up to 3 simultaneous connections.

This is also default behaviour for Mystic, so likely the same thing is happening to other BBSes too, if you're trying to connect with more than one PC






















































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































at a time from the same external IP.

I use Linux as do many others, and connecting to Mystic BBS (regardless which one) is 100% fine.
