For the life of me I can't get Trade Wars to run on my Mystic system.
Windows 7 32bit

Happy to help, but...what steps have you taken so far? What's the error? Can you run it locally?

are you trying to run the game server or the door?if the latter,what does
your batch file look like?if the former, how are you connecting to it?do you have our login or telnet setup?do you have the proper port and IP address setup?do you havethe proper R loginfield selected?pardon the odd spacing, I'm using voice dictation on ConnectBot.

Trying to run it as a door. Here is my current batch file that works on RA and Proboard.

I have the node setup for the right directories in TEDIT.

Are other doors working under mystic?

Do you have hardware handshaking set to no and I/O Type set to Fossil? Port should be your normal port (I use 1) and node should be active. I use DOOR
as the dropfile type.

The only way I have ever gotten it to work, was to (in the doors menu) use
the Telnet command to /addr=0.0.0.0 /port=2002, where 0.0.0.0 is the local address TW2002 is running on.

Is it registered? Are you trying from node 1? If it's not registered, I
don't think you can use any other node. Are other door games working?

Can you post that command line?

Those instructions were for accessing a TW2002 server (already running) via
the Telnet command on Mystic. I see no sense in also running a 'Door'

Just got mine working on all 5 nodes. It is registered, but I can't locate my GOLD at the moment.

For some reason, the TEDIT only setup node 1, so after seeing how that was, I edited the other 4 and it works.

Found the problem, dont understand why, but I moved my tw.bat out of the tw game directory, edited the directory file paths to match and WoooHooo. It works.
