    Tried two newsreaders which both didn't work (one of them was Thunderbird). Finally found that Claws Mail works correctly with Mystic BBS NNTP which is buggy.

    yeah i gave up on it when i tried it. duno if the protocol has evolved separately from what the RFC says or what.. (i.e. Mystic does it the old way? who knows)
