    Just a "woo-hoo!" moment: managed to get a QWKnet (DOVE-Net) feed onto my Talisman BBS. Not really a Talisman function, per se, I just setup a
    Syncrhonet BBS to gate QWKnet to The Drunken Gamer BBS via FTN.

    I just made up a network (99:99/99) to do this -- is that OK to do? It's
    just my BBS so I figured it wouldn't conflict with anything...

    Sure, I use zone 10 - and yes I'm aware that there is an active FTN network that uses zone 10 as well.

    (I use zone 10, like 10.0.0.0/8 IP addresses - as an "internal" FTN.)

    There are at least two of us who are already gating dovenet to other systems using zone 723.

    Technically if you are only doing so locally, what zone you use shouldn't
    make a difference.

    I picked that based on my phone number at the time. I've been getting
    dovenet from nick that way for yeaaaaars.
