Recently started listening to jazz. Mainly because the FM
radio stations only play about 5 songs on repeat and I couldn't
handle it anymore. Really like Nat King Cole, Nina Simone,
    Louis Armstrong, etc etc.

I never really got into that... I was happy with Rock 95, Q107 and 102.1 for any new stuff I wanted to hear

Rock 95 reached all the way to Bracebridge where I grew up, I remember that playing in the car or out on the deck when I was a kid. At one point if the radio station spotted you driving around with a Rock 95 bumper sticker they'd give you some free swag. They approached us one summer in the parking lot of A&P, my sister & I got free t-shirts and my dad got a free hat.

until I bought the CD or whatever album a song was from.

That's where Columbia House came in handy. I'm not sure how many times I signed up to get 12 CDs for a penny.

I remember seeing a ton of Rock 95 stickers on cars from Collingwood to
Barrie when I lived out there...
