    Hey everybody!

    My alias is thunderox and my name is Philip.
    I am soon to be 18 years old and world of BBS that is still kickin' strong
    even in 2021 is fascinating to me.
    Figured I would like to try and send a message on the board.
    I am currently exploring the world of BBS & would like to set up a little BBS of my own (WIP!).

    Sounds like a good plan! =)

    Creating your own BBS is a great way to learn how everything fits together. Many decisions along the way, of course, but nevertheless very rewarding!

    Make sure to have a look at the FSX_BBS echo (and perhaps some software-specific ones such as FSX_MYS for Mystic or FSX_MAG for Talisman etc.), too!

    I was gonna ask you about that! There's also a character named Avon in the TV series called "The Wire."

    It's also a beauty/cosmetics company which does door-to-door sales in the USA.

    UK SciFi show from the 80's... Avon was a bit of a bad ass but he kept the
    crew out of harm and always seemed to have a plan to save the day which I
    kinda liked... more brains over brawn :)

    The character called 'Avon' on "The Wire" is a high ranking drug dealer in one of America's worst cities (Baltimore.)
