    Some months ago, when I first started posting here on fsxNet there was some discussion of us in Melbourne, Australia (or close enough to visit Melbourne) having an "In Real Life" meetup.

    The general opinion was not until after Easter. Well, Easter has passed and I'm wondering whether people are still interested.

    In envisage a meetup somewhere in the CBD (or closeby if getting into the CBD is difficult for some), at a pub or cafe on a Weekend.

    Of course, it doesn't have to be a pub or cafe, or on the weekend.

    Are people still intersted in this?

    Despite the teetotalers I'd probably still run with a pub, they tend to be better landmarks, in established or well known locations. Also generally
    good for a feed if need be. However happy to go with the flow, a pub could
    be the initial meeting point if needs be.

    Not sure who was in on this... Vk3jed... there's someone else too... mental blank....in fact that someone VK3 has caught up with previously.

    Howdy,

    I'm in, weekends are harder for me - normally busy out with kids activities, but I might be able to swindle things if the majority go for it.

    I work in the CBD (when I go in), so easy to meet up anytime. We could either do a feed, or coffee/beer.

    I'd suggest Southgate (its what I know) and there are quite a few places open along the yarra, and thus coming in regional can get out at Flinders St (easy platform change at Southern Cross). Again, not fussed where.

    There were a few people interested if I recall. We'll see who pops their head up.

    For a meeting place, I *may* be able to make a heritage building with a meeting room and kitchen an option in an inner city suburb.
