Well it looks like we may get our first snowfall of winter in the coming days.
I'm getting a tad tired of lugging in firewood each night.
I'd say 'roll on summer' but then again I'm not sure I want to deal with any future heat-waves either ;-)
I live on the California coast - I can see the Pacific Ocean out my windows facing west. More snow that I could manage is available 4 hours away near lake Tahoe - this winter we had 13-15 foot snowpacks.

It is really wierd reading this and understanding NZ is so far away, yet so close for a message. :)

Here in Florida, it was 99 yesterday, Hot and very humid.
I always forget that you and Australia are on the "opposite" side of the Planet and while it is scorching here, it is snowing there :)
Post pix so we can see!!!
I guess the north has gotten tired of taking all the light away, so is
now handing some back.
But I'll enjoy the almost 10p sunsets while I can. Though, sadly, I'll head to California, soon, where I'll doubtlessly get to enjoy 40C+ temperatures in short bursts when going from air-conditioned place to air-conditioned place.
What's neat about it, is that Avon lives in _the future_.

at one point there were a LOT of new zealanders on the internet, relatively speaking.
What's neat about it, is that Avon lives in _the future_.But it doesn't seem to do me any good winning the local lotto numbers :)
I tried this week (39 million in the Power Ball) and I only won a lousy bonus ticket hehheheh...

Avon, a lottery winner!
We'll remind you about the snow in December, when we all get to expect Santa getting in through the chimney! :>
I can bet you'll enjoy the abstraction of the firewood logs dragged home like we do now in Northern Hemisphere! :>
Just kidding ofz.. funny to see how diverse our planet it, at the reach
of a single message.

I love snow, for a moment or where I spend dedicated time to experience it, somewhere, high mountains. But, I'm so much summer guy that it's fucked up crazy to realize down under, you guys actually have winter
now!
