    It seems like your mind can be helpful and destructive. I didnt know I could cause mouth/jaw pain due to my thoughts.

    I get this. My dentist even got me a night guard because I was grinding my teeth while I slept.

    I find myself clenching my jaw during the weirdest times. Usually something stressful like getting stuck in traffic, or something going on a work where I'll be staring at a monitor for awhile and then catch myself clenching my
    jaw.

    My dentist suggested that I get a 2nd "night" guard to keep with me, and wear it while driving or at work. I can just picture that where someone comes up
    to ask my something and I have to take my guard out to reply. lol
