What is old-time radio? Just curious as to the format / content?

I listen to classic radio shows on Sirius/XM Radio Classics in my car https://www.siriusxm.com/channels/radio-classics?intcmp=CG_NA_www:channels_Radi oClassics
Or you can listen to the Old Time Radio network on the web http://www.otr.net Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I'll be sure to check them out.

I did have some old copies of things like War of the Worlds with Orson Wells which I used to enjoy listening to and playing on air from time to time.

Not sure who is the one that 'owns' this, but is this the same one that
was also a podcast? If so, I really enjoyed it!

I just sent a link to the Gunsmoke shows (over 400) to my pastor. He's a
big fan of the television show and I had told him about it being a radio
    show FIRST.
