Looks like we all celebrate our mothers on the same day. Which reminds me, I should order some flowers today for delivery on Sunday.

I did make that phone call and had a good chat with Mum. :)

I made it in time to have flowers delivered, but due to it being a busy time they delivered it around 5pm on Saturday instead of Sunday.

I called her on Sunday and we had a good chat as well. :)

And Fathers Day is a very different proposition, that's on different
    days in different countries.

Looks like Canada, US & UK all do the 3rd Sunday in June for Father's day while those of you living in the future do it on the 1st Sunday in September.

Yeah we're not a flowers family. If I knew what she needed for the garden, could have ordered plants. ;)

Mine is easy and tricky to deal with. Standby for every occasion is a box o' bundaberg ginger beer. But there's not point ringing, she can't hear anything. At the present my travel is limited by sharing one car so getting over to see her is a bit hit and miss.

Yeah my mum is easy, a phone call works. :) We're hoping to have a get together in July for her 80th birthday. :)
