    Its worse than that its dead jim...

    So I had a crack at shifting some of the hudson based areas to JAM. Result is its borked. I'm having a mental blank on how to specify the JAM bases and where they are.

    SBBS doesn't support JAM so its just ignore everything there aside from the dropfile.

    FastEcho has been set to use JAM at F:\FSX\MSGAREA but complains it can't
    find the location...

    The Reader is set the same way but also says it can't open said areas..

    So should that path be a complete path or a pointer to directory to contain
    the base?

    It depends in *.msg mode it the path only. In Squish and JAM mode its path and filename without extension.

    Yup, exactly this. In FESETUP I have FSX_GEN setup like so:

    Fortunately Telegard also supports JAM bases, so I'm able to point it at
    these same files & all is well and good with the world.

    Falling afoul of the second, I had the path pointing to a directory instead of a filename. :)
