    the hobby attracts guys from the past xD

    i love vintage computing so much i am hooked to this hobby! xD

    dose anyone here use a vintage system to get on the BBS?
    i am on a toshiba t1200 rn xD

    i recently aquired an amiga 1200 for 80$ and it works too
    i just need to fix the hdd it seems the read write heads are stuck xD
    the drive dose spin..

    this lil computer i have is interesting. it has a 80c86 cpu which is highly interesting and it can go at 9mHz xD

    it is a spead demon in the XT/PC class xD

    I have had a few female users over the years on my BBSes. The last one even used the message areas & played doors. She made the mistake of wandering into FIDO POLITICS and ran afoul of a couple of the resident PITAs. Ironically, one of them (RIP!) was a self-proclaimed hard-leaning "leftist" who also secretly hated women who voiced opinions.

    That ran her off. I have not had any female users since, that I know of, and she got run off sometime before COVID.
