does anyone know of a decent mail reader that works similar to a "regular" mail client, such as thunderbird? there's some quirks in TM that i'm not a big fan of. such as not being able to sort the mail by date etc.

I seem to recall an old Windows reader called "Wave Rider", that, if it'll run in a modern OS, might work.
