    yay it's christmas eve. we just got notified that our son had a confirmed contact with a positive covid case at his therapy so we're on quarantine for ten days.

    then our furnace died today. $190 to have somebody check it out and say they can't order the part they need until Monday because everybody literally just closed for the holidays. and tomorrow's going to get to 19 degrees (that's -7 for you celsius folks) in the morning.

    so, how's everybody else's holidays?

    Sorry to hear that, what part has failed? Might be a way to jury rig
    something in the meantime.

    The gas valve. I assume that's the part that lets gas in/not in so it can be burned. I don't feel comfortable jury rigging that. :(
