I suppose killing FSXnet by homicide would be a bit of a differe ending an online thing.
If we do this, we need to do it on a moving train or something... mor like an Agatha Christie plot :)
Who killed FSXnet!?!
Was it... Adept with her political tirade springing from copyright law, describing Disney as, "a roid'd up mouse doing a drunk uncle impression"? Or was it... Avon, with his swearing at everyone using pejoratives
unknown by Americans? "You have such pants opinions!"
Find out! On Fight-o-net.
(I assume Fidonet is basically unkillable at this point. At best it'll be undead.)
Heh, who knows... yeah the number of echos I am not sure on... some se to be working others less so, but should they be pulled - not sure?
I think it's fine. But if you want to remove some echos, FSX_CRY would
be my first candidate.
lol, i am here during my work hours every weekday.
being able to work from home, allows me the ablity to
also sit on my BBS and hang out for 8 hours a day.
its what keeps me sain from taking password reset calls
all day long :-)
Been playing with my LPFM station a bit more lately too.
Starting to work on adding more music which is a time consuming task.

Good to know we're helping you stay sane and happy :)
I too enjoy the chats here and in FTN circles in general.

How does that work from a licensing perspective? Do you have to pay royalties each time you play a song?
Do you have Chris Rea in your catalog?

I've been listening to TotalFM the past two days while working from
home. One of the best parts is no commercials! :)
Caught myself tapping my toe to a few songs and even shazam'ing a couple (I Love You Always Forever by Betty Who which is a re-make a the version
I know from high school).
If I could request a song? "Tal Bachman - She's So High"
I remember liking that one from high school as well.

Howdy,
One thing I've wanted to ask you about your radio is about volume.
I toggle a lot between radio (on Tunein), Spotify and TotalFM - and I
find that if I was listening to Total FM and switch to another music source, I need to turn UP the volume.
Converserly, if I was on another music service and switch to TotalFM, I have to turn the volume DOWN.
Is this normal? Not sure if others notice, or if it's just me...

home more means there are days I just have a break from BBSing as I will end up spending way to much time in one spot otherwise.
Yeah, same seat, different task. From the same seat I could play Warthunder on my desktop PC, RDP into the BBS to run maintenance or RDP into my work laptop. I've started taking my laptop into the garden for work calls, it helps to get a little change of scenery.
I think we are all going through the same thing. There are work things that I'm supposed to be doing, but finding the motivation when WFH all
the time is very difficult. My brain automatically wanders to doing
stuff it is more naturally passionate about.

It's a now unavailable package called Sonos... not to be confused with
the home audio system by the same name :)
Is there somewhere I can read about it online or perhaps a .pdf
available? I know Orban made an OptiMod software processor but it

I have a book called "Spy Fi" about the collection of TV/movie paraphenalia. He's collected props and outfits from The Man From Uncle, Mission Impossible, Bond props, props from Our Man Flint, and most notably, Maxwell Smart's shoe phone.
It's a fun read.

Sounds it! I'm sort of surprised none of the phone manufacturers have
made a shoe phone as a good gag gift. It'd be a real "Smart" phone lol
Hmmm, I wonder if it would still get reception under the cone of silence...

Or, a cellphone that looks like a standard handset from a
rotary phone complete with coiled cord that extends to the rest
of the phone clipped onto a belt or in a purse. That would be
so funny to see.

It'd have great reception, but you wouldn't be able to hear it.
