Just want to say thank you, fsxNet, for offering a network that rejects polarized, political discussion, attacks and dis-information.

Hallo aLpha,

I absolutely agree!

When I see other networks devolving into highly polarized posts (always US-based politics, right?)--and not just in "politics" or "debate"
echos, but in the "general" ones as well--it really sucks. Makes me
want to turn them off. But that's just me.

Well, non-US citizens seem to often (1) only talk about US politics and how bad the US is while (2) flat out refusing to offer any discussion about their own government and politics, even when asked to do so.
So you wind up with a bunch of people from the US and otherwise discussing only the US.
Also the FTNs are dominated by old white men. And when you look at the
old male white voters in the US ...
Okay, I stop here.

So this is my oasis. I'm grateful for it. And I think its why fsxNet
will continue to grow a diverse group of international perspectives,
of all political leanings, hopefully free from the trolls and bomb-throwers that inhabit other forums.

Culturally and generally non-US citizens know more about the US than US citizens know about non-US politics (especially in the group of FTN members).
I guess we need a politics echoarea for non-US citizens and topics (in some FTN) ;)
