    Hey

    Anyone playing World of Warcraft at present?

    I prepurchased shadownlands a while back, and played it a little during
    the first prepatch, kind of thought the whole skipping all the content to
    BfA was dumb, and got bored so unsubbed.

    Now that shadowlands is out I'm thinking I should give it a go, just to
    see if it's any good, considering i bought it..

    So is anyone else playing it at present? I'm not expecting anyone is...
    but thought I'd ask anyway.

    I hit peak WOW during The Burning Crusade, when the guild I was in raided Molten Core twice a week and thought we were badasses. Then I quit, came back a few time for short spurts and then get bored. It's just too much of a grind.

    When lockdown started in April I bought a short subscription and tried playing again... but it just seems less fun then it used to be. It's just too complicated. I dunno.

    Let me know what you think of Shadowlands. I'm curious about the character level compression.

    I've been running through it since.. 2005. SL is definitely worth coming back for just to experience how they basically said "BFA, WOD, Legion weren't exactly working, and with the success of Classic, we're bringing it back to a more core Warcraft experience"

    Plus there's a lot of metal music references in Maldraxxus, and playing
    through Castlevan.... Revandreath was fun. I ended up choosing Night Fae due
    to the story line and the RP of my main character as my covenant.

    Warning though, unless you REALLY love PVP, do not go to the MAW with warmode on.

    I made a new character and levelled through exiles reach and of course
    then it sent me to BfA zones. I'm not sure I can be bothered working
    through that to get to shadowlands.

    I haven't really enjoyed the new expansions since around cataclysm. I was making characters and leveling up until about draenor when I'd get bored
    and reroll. I have 3 accounts with about 50 chars (the max) on each. I
    don't think I've done all the dungeons past cataclysm (possibly not all
    the ones in cata either) just hate mechanics.

    So I'm not sure I'm going to get to shadowlands. I will be cancelling my
    sub at the end of the month again because $$ is tight, but I'm not sure
    I'll even play until then. Maybe I'll download classic or something. I do
    like the new character models and customizations. It's just not fun
    anymore.
