Veganes Rezept:



50 g gepuffter Amaranth
70 g Kakaobutter oder 150 g vegane dunkle Schokolade ohne Kristallzucker
1-2 EL (am besten selbst gemachter) Apfeldicksaft oder eine andere fluessige, klebrige Zuckeralternative
1/2 TL Zimt oder Kakaopulver


- Gepufften Amaranth mit Zimt oder Kakaopulver mischen. Fett oder Schokolade
im Wasserbad schmelzen und den Apfeldicksaft einruehren. Die Fettmischung zum Amaranth geben und alles gruendlich mischen, sodass alle Koerner mit Pflanzenfett ueberzogen sind.

- Die kruemelige Keksmasse in eine Silikonform fuellen oder auch in Ausstechformen, die auf einem Teller platziert wurden, und gut andruecken. Falls beides nicht vorhanden ist, koennen die Kekse mit zwei kalten
Teeloeffeln geformt werden.

- Die gefuellten Formen fuer 30 bis 45 Minuten zum Aushaerten in den Kuehlschrank stellen. Anschliessend die fest gewordenen Amaranth-Kekse aus
der Form loesen.

- Werden die Amaranth-Kekse nicht sofort vernascht, halten sie sich bis zu
vier Wochen bei trockener Lagerung in einem luftdichten Vorratsbehaelter, zum Beispiel einem grossen Schraubglas. Bei der Verwendung von Kokosoel empfiehlt es sich, die Plaetzchen im Kuehlschrank zu lagern, da sie sonst ihre
Festigkeit verlieren koennten.

That said I find it a bit hard to have to cut/paste stuff into translate to understand what is being said... Hadn't thought of that angle... perhaps one "non-English" echo? The
existing FSX_ESP echo could become FSX_OTH (for "other") or whatever,
and any/all conversations in languages other than English could go in
there. The Spanish speakers wouldn't understand the German speakers,
etc.. etc..., but we already have that condition. They all could
carry on conversations with others in their languages, and us
(English-only) speakers could either ignore or convert as desired.
Keeps you out of the situation where somebody gets offended because
you don't want to add an echo for some obscure language.

Again, I don't really have a horse in the race, just suggesting. :-)

By my point of view, if someone will add another language, the best way is to add a separate folder - better than a mixed one.

So only people interested in these languages like Spanish and German may add it.

I've never particularly liked gravy, and my enjoyment of salty flavor is limited to pretty much corn on the cob and hard-boiled eggs.

And about the only time I like (rather than tolerate) potatoes is with french fries, and _those_ I want to be diner-style fries with a some amount of ketchup.

I tend to wind up eating potatoes by accident. E.g., the last time I lived in Germany, I frequently ate at my school's Mensa (it's a cafeteria), and
somehow, despite looking out for "Kartoffel", I somehow would wind up eating potatoes twice a week by accident.

posts by Memo - like the Usenet. And I'm hard working on it, but actually
the polling doesn't work proper yet.

So postings by Memo will stop, and there is no need for an extra echo area.

My feeling is that there's nothing wrong with wanting to communicate in your native language when posting to fsxNet. But the predominant language used

The creation of echomail areas is based on a perceived need/demand to do so. With your active posting in German I was thinking of creating this new echo area to provide a space for yourself and anyone else wanting to chat in
German to do so.

The fsxNet is mainly a network for BBS sysops and BBS related topics I think, and not for common communications.

There is a general echomail area for the very reason that not all topics are BBS related :) That said the sorts of subjects and areas of interest for
people who are active in the network are well sign posted in the infopack and general information on the fsxnet.nz website, so what you have read to do should not be a suprise ::)

I hope you continue to engage in the network, but that's up to you. If you do wish to do so and would like to keep posting in German I'll look to set up a general chat echoarea to cater for this and others who want to take part.

Meh. As long as "common communication" doesn't mean politics or resharing items, FSXnet is still a network for common communications.

Yeah, we're mostly sysops, and our shared hobbies tend to group similarly
(ham radio, demoscene, etc.), but... if people want to post about something they care about, more power to them.

Heck, we were talking about the Princess Bride and potatoes, and those are
just topics I brought up in the past couple of days.

I actually disabled fsxNet completely via ACL for all other people except me, on Omega BBS.

In the matter of fact that means Memo only because there is actually only a second user here ;)

But it is no problem to enable a SFX_DEU or SFX_GER, how ever it is named.

Meanwhile, I started with Omega BBS on 2020/11/14 !!!, I mostly know what I'm doing with the configuration :)

I see that as a combo of "gringo" and "English".

Which, to be fair, would just be "English".
