  • Linux How-To Files

    Hi All,

    Just a quick note. The Linux How-To files that were just hatched into fsxNet are being re-hatched, with the 'replace' verb, as they are reformatted. There are more pictures and screen shots included, and the format has changed to PDF files.

    Hopefully some of you will be able to find some use for this information. (I'm not just sending these for Avon...) ;)

    There are more written. I just need to edit and finish reformatting them before hatching. I'm up to 20 written right now, with many more planned. :)

    It was just frustrating for me when I made the switch. I would check Uncle Google, and not find what I was looking for. It seems there are 25 different 'How-to' sites, either with information from 1995, or they all copy the same information and examples.

    The first ones are pretty basic, but they start getting more in-depth, and more topic specific.

    My only complaint about them, is they really aren't in the best order. I've just been writing them as I think of topics... I hope when there are more released, they can then be used for reference...
